Our client are actively seeking a part time (4 days per week), Interim Senior Management Accountant for a short term assignment to support the Financial Controller during changes in the business. Working on a hybrid basis eventually, you will initially be required to work on site near St Neots. Cambridgeshire for a 4 month period.
Typical responsibilities include:
- Management Accounts - prepare and check data ready to input into the group reporting system
- Review of actual results against budget, including variance analysis and commentary
- Business Oversight - assisting with budgeting and reforecasting
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- Compliance of statutory returns, such as HMRC, VAT, PAYE, CIS, etc..
- Overseeing and supporting the accounts payable team
- Adhoc duties to support the team
Applications are welcomed from individuals with the following skills and experience:
- Qualified Accountant (QBE or Formally Qualified - ACCA/CIMA)
- Previous experience in a similar role is essential
- Able to work with minimal supervision and use own initiative
- Flexible attitude to support the team
- Must be able to commute to St Neots, initially for 4 days per week
Interviews for this role will be taking place this week, with the successful candidate potentially starting w/c 5th or 12th of May
This is the possibility of the contract being extended beyond the initial 4 month period.
