Job Title: Accounts Assistant
Location: Ebbw Vale
Salary: £14.00 - £17.00 per hour depending on experience

Hours: Part time ideally Wednesday and Thursdays working 08.15am -17.00pm and occasionally covering a Friday morning but ideally the right person would be fully flexible.

Here at The Recruitment Co, we are currently recruiting an Part Time Finance Assistant who will play a crucial role in supporting the finance department by performing various accounting tasks.

This role would suit an experienced and reliable finance assistant, who has a flexible approach to work and a positive attitude.

The Role:

  • Credit Control
  • Setting up and processing weekly/monthly supplier payment runs
  • Processing invoices and credit notes
  • Dealing with supplier queries/ Liaising with Suppliers
  • Checking Supplier statements/ reconciliations
  • Ensuring customer details are maintained and setting up supplier accounts
  • Processing of Credit Card Statements
  • Provide general administrative support to the finance department, including filing, scanning, correspondence, and other admin tasks as needed

The Candidate

  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Essential Skills:

  • Microsoft Word
  • Excel
  • Outlook
  • Sage accounts - experience of Sage Line 50 Accounts an advantage
