Are you ready to play a key role in manufacturing cutting-edge Nickel Zinc cells and battery modules? We're looking for a Technical Operator to join our clients dynamic production team in Ebbw Vale. This is a great opportunity to be part of a growing company where your skills and initiative will help drive our operational success.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Operating production machinery and loading materials
  • Conducting quality and safety checks to ensure compliance and consistency
  • Performing routine maintenance and basic fault rectification on production equipment
  • Managing efficient line changeovers with minimal downtime
  • Accurately logging downtime using manual or automated systems
  • Adhering to and promoting safe working practices
  • Supporting general factory duties as required
  • Training colleagues on machinery and processes
What We’re Looking For:

Qualifications & Background:

  • Ideally A-Level or HNC qualified in a mechanical discipline (or equivalent)
  • Solid experience in a multi-skilled manufacturing environment

Skills & Attributes:

  • Quick learner with the ability to work independently
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and process discipline
  • Good IT literacy, particularly for production systems
  • Effective team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • A valid FLT licence is highly desirable but not essential
