Brook Street are recruiting for a Responsible Individual on behalf of our client, an established children'S service in South Wales who offer tailored support to children and young people with complex needs.

The role and responsibilities:
- Overseeing management of the services and ensuring the services are safe, well run and comply with regulations
- Ensuring Managers receive appropriate supervision, support and training
- Ensuring policies and procedures are up to date, consistent with statement of purpose and relevant legislation and national guidance
- Ensuring clear lines of accountability, delegation and responsibility between the RI and the manager. Directors are informed about service quality, safety and effectiveness.
- Ensure there is a strong focus on individual wellbeing outcomes
- Ensuing systems are in place to assess, monitor and improve the quality and safety of the service.
- Reporting on the adequacy of the resources available to provide the service.
- To develop a positive culture and ensure that the service users have a voice.
- Emphasise a person-cantered approach, promoting independence and active participation in decision-making.
Essentials for the role:
- QCF Level 5 in Health and Social Care (Children and Young People) / Leadership and Management.
- Live within reasonable driving distance to the services.
- Existing RI/Operation director/Manager experience within Childcare
Skills:

- Safeguarding protocols for CYP
- Excellent communication skills
