Location: Ebbw Vale, South Wales
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
Pay Rate: 88.92 per day (increases depending on qualifications, experience, and client rate)
Contract Type: Temporary (via agency)



Role Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced 1-1 Teaching Assistant for a full-time, support role within a primary school in Ebbw Vale. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in a child's educational journey, working closely to provide tailored support to meet their individual needs.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 Teaching Assistant support to a pupil with Additional Learning Needs (ALN)

  • Work collaboratively with class teachers and SENCO to implement tailored learning strategies

  • Support the pupil's emotional, social, and educational development

  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment

  • Adapt learning resources as needed to support individual progress



Requirements:

  • Proven experience supporting children with ALN in a primary school setting

  • Enhanced DBS check (on the Update Service or willing to obtain one)

  • Registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
