Role-Quotations/Sales Engineer (Fabrications)
Location- Manchester
Hours- Mon - Fri
Salary - Negotiable up to 43k starting rate + Benefits
Office based Quotations/Sales/Account Engineerrequired for afast-paced manufacturing company,estimating architectural metal workcomponents and assemblies, materials and processes including turret punching, routing, Press Brake Forming, Welding, Assembly together with obtaining costs from sub-contract suppliers for finishing operations. Customer liaison regarding pricing / lead times and delivery schedules.
Main Responsibilities:
- Quotingmetal work.
- Obtaining supplier quotations
- Prepare detailed quotes for submission to customers.
- Liaising with customers to attain their requirements.
- Liaising with production ref lead times/delivery schedule
- The candidate will be expected to follow up estimates, negotiate and secure orders.
Knowledge, Skills, Experience:
- Previous manufacturing estimation / costing experience essential.
- Exerience in the Fabrication/Sheet metal industry
- Excellent communication skills at all levels
- Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
- Computer literate, Microsoft office etc,
- Attention to detail a must.
