Senior Quality Assurance Technician
Location: Edenbridge
Salary: c30,000 per annum + Annual Profit Bonus

Hours: Permanent, Full Time / 8am - 4.30pm with some flexibility if required
This is a pro-active and busy quality role, reporting to the Head of Training and Standards and QA and Compliance Manager on day-to-day Quality Issues from Production.
To ensure that all internal system processes are completed in a timely manner in line with the agreed schedules and targets set out by the Partnership Quality and Compliance Manager.
In this role, you will ensure that all packaging materials and finished goods meet strict quality and safety standards, supporting compliance with BRCGS Packaging, ISO 9001, and food industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigating and responding to customer complaints
- Carrying out route cause analysis as necessary
- Raising and investigating internal non-conformances
- Interdepartmental meetings/communication to ensure continuous improvement and effective process control
- Monthly Quality Reports
- Overseeing the day to day activity of the Quality Assurance Technicians
- Participating in and preparing for all external audits (Customer and BRC)
- Assisting with Internal Audit Programme
- Managing Hygiene Inspections
- Training as required with the QA Manager and the Head of Training and Standards
- Overseeing the day to day activity of the QC department to ensure priorities are met
- CofC completion
Candidate Requirements
Previous experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control within food or packaging sectors
Solid understanding of BRC, ISO 9001, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
Excellent attention to detail with a methodical and analytical approach
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools for reporting and record-keeping
Clear communicator with strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
Dependable, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
Desibable - Level 3 HACCP / Level 2 Food safety
