Term Time Teachers are looking for experienced and compassionate SEN Teachers to join our team on a flexible supply basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a diverse group of students and play a key role in positively shaping their educational experiences.

We collaborate with schools across Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge, Sevenoaks, Crowborough, Cranbrook, Edenbridge, and Lingfield.

Key Responsibilities as a SEN Teacher:

  • Deliver customised lessons and interventions for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Collaborate with the SENCO and teaching staff to support individual learning plans.
  • Tailor lesson content and teaching methods to meet the needs of students with various learning difficulties, such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and emotional/behavioural challenges.
  • Create a safe, supportive, and engaging classroom environment.
  • Track and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to the SENCO.
  • Support students in both their academic and social/emotional development.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs, either in a classroom or support role.
  • Strong understanding of SEN provisions, including the ability to differentiate lessons and materials.
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for making a difference in the lives of children with additional needs.
