Job Title: CNC Machinist (Fanuc Experience)
Location: London NW9
Pay Rate: 15.00 - 17.00 per hour + holiday accrued
Working Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 07:30 - 17:00
- Fridays: OFF (38 hours per week)
- Some flexibility may be required
Job Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced CNC Machinist with strong Fanuc control experience to join a well-established engineering company based in NW9, London. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled machinist who is looking for stable hours and a four-day work week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manufacture all components within agreed timescales
- Set a variety of CNC machine tools for operators as needed
- Use a wide range of measuring equipment to inspect small-batch components
- Maintain the agreed quality standards at all times
- Ensure all manufactured products are suitably protected for transit
- Follow the manufacturing plan and prioritise tasks accordingly
- Complete all manufacturing paperwork accurately and on time
- Execute tasks assigned by the Team Leader in a timely and efficient manner
- Maintain a high standard of housekeeping in the work area
- Support team members with additional tasks as required
- Adhere to Health & Safety procedures and contribute to a safe working environment
- Perform other reasonable duties as needed
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist
- Proficient in working with Fanuc controls
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Skilled in using various measuring instruments (e.g. micrometers, verniers)
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
