Administrative Assistant

12 Month Contract

Edinburgh (Hybdrid 3 days in the office)

Are you an organised and detail-oriented individual looking to kickstart your career in administration? Our client, a leading organisation in the financial sector, is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support management in a variety of Unit Trust and OEIC administrative activities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct periodic reviews of all aspects of Open Ended Funds to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Assist in resolving queries and technical issues, providing timely support where needed.
  • Review funds in alignment with the appropriate regulations, investigating discrepancies and escalating issues as necessary.
  • Review and update procedures to enhance operational efficiency and compliance.

What We're Looking For:

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high degree of accuracy in their work, understanding the critical nature of administrative tasks within the financial services industry. You should have a flexible approach, particularly under tight deadlines, and possess excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with both clients and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Previous administrative experience, preferably within a financial or regulatory environment.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
