Corporate Support and Correspondence Officer - 6 month contract - Edinburgh - £200 - £250 per day via umbrella

One of Loriens leading Public Sector Clients are looking for a highly experienced Corporate Support and Correspondence Officer join their team on an initial 6-month contract.

Assignment Description

  • Support Corporate Support Manager to manage and monitor the Freedom of Information (FOI) and Environmental Information Regulation (EIR) requests, including liaising with staff to ensure that the relevant information required is returned in a timely manner when required.
  • Undertaking redaction of personal, environmental or commercially sensitive information in accordance with GDPR and FOI/EIR legislation, including the application of exemptions and public interest tests when required.
  • Drafting and coordinating responses to FOIs/EIRs, ensuring legislative requirements and timescales are met when required.
  • Issuing and recording acknowledgment letters for requests
  • Monitoring and following up with staff on contributions to casework
  • Monitoring the Freedom of Information request (FOI) and Corporate mailboxes
