Contract Manufacturing Engineer - Electronics
Location: Edinburgh (Hybrid)
Rate: Up to 65 per hour (Outside IR35)
Contract Length: 12 months
Start Date: ASAP

An established electronics business in Edinburgh is looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join them on a 12 month contract. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to brand new projects for a key customers, with the chance to make a real impact from day one.

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will take ownership of the manufacturing system within the PCA manufacturing cells. Your focus will be on maintaining and improving safe and lean processes for new products ensuring projects are delivered on time, to standard, and within budget.

This role is ideally suited for a Manufacturing Engineering wanting to work on innovative projects with a forward thinking electronics business.

Experience required:

  • Strong background in a electronic manufacturing environment
  • PCA Assembly Processes
  • Surface mount and through-hole application
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Confident interpreting PCB/PCA CAD data and drawings
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing techniques
  • Skilled in problem solving and root cause analysis
