Hybrid Business Analyst/Project Manager

Edinburgh (Hybrid)

£400 - £500 Outside

3 Months initial (Extensions likely - potential to go perm)

We're looking for either a hybrid Business Analyst/Project Manager, Junior Project Manager or Delivery Analyst to join our fast-growing consultancy client. This role will be ideal for someone that excels at being the entry point for smaller client project with a passion for discussing "as is" scenarios.

This is an autonomous role where you will be spearheading project workshops, developing propositions and overseeing delivery of the projects

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with clients at the entry point for smaller projects.
  • Discuss and analyse "as is" scenarios.
  • Facilitate initial project workshops and develop propositions.
  • Work on findings from workshops, including proof of concept.
  • Opportunity to transition into full project delivery further down the line.
  • Manage projects valued between £20-100k.
  • Face off to clients and foster positive relationships

Key Requirements

  • Experience of working on software development projects
  • Strong analytical skills ('as is' & 'to be', workshop facilitation)
  • Solid experience managing small projects (£20k - £100k)
  • Understanding of working across public sector or education
  • Consultancy experience would be highly beneficial
  • Security or IAM experience would be advantageous
  • Self-driven, able to work in a team environment as well as embed themselves within the team
