Morgan Hunt are working with a public sector client based in Edinburgh to recruit a business improvement advisor on a temporary contract, for an initial two months.

Your Role:

Working alongside the Business Improvement Manager, you'll be at the heart of our assurance and improvement efforts-gathering and analysing data, customer feedback, and audit insights to help drive strategic progress. Your role will support:

  • Delivery of high-quality assurance reporting
  • Identification of business risks and opportunities
  • Design and implementation of process improvements
  • Monitoring compliance and enhancing operational efficiency

You'll engage with teams across the organisation to understand challenges and support change initiatives that lead to measurable, customer-focused results.

What We're Looking For:

We're seeking a proactive individual with:

  • Experience in project or change management
  • Experience in risk and assurance
  • Knowledge of improvement tools and methodologies
  • Strong analytical and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Background in regulated sectors such as housing, care, or local government (preferred)
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to influence change and drive performance
