We are currently seeking a full-time External Account Manager to join our Edinburgh branch.

About the Role:

As an External Account Manager, you will play a key role in driving business growth and maintaining strong client relationships. This role is ideal for someone with experience in electrical wholesale, particularly in external sales and portfolio account management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing and expanding a portfolio of existing clients.
  • Developing new business opportunities through proactive outreach and networking.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for client enquiries and support.
  • Providing tailored solutions and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service and delivery.
  • Staying informed on industry trends, products, and competitor activity.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in external sales ideally within the electrical wholesale or similar sector.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
  • A proactive, customer-focused approach with a drive to exceed targets.
  • Full UK driving licence is essential.
