Job Description:

Contract Scotland are seeking a Temporary Site Engineer/Sub-Agent for a civil engineering project in Edinburgh. The ideal candidate will have expertise in setting out concrete structures and a strong understanding of CDM regulations and associated paperwork. The role involves ensuring precise setting out, managing on-site safety, quality control, inspection and test plans and conducting as-built surveys.

Key Responsibilities:

- Setting out and supervising concrete structure construction.
- Ensuring compliance with CDM regulations.
- Conducting and verifying as-built surveys.
- Coordinating with project managers and subcontractors to ensure project milestones are met.
- Monitoring and ensuring quality control and health and safety standards on site.
- Preparing reports and maintaining accurate site records.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Previous experience in setting out concrete structures.
- Knowledge of CDM regulations.
- Proficiency in conducting as-built surveys.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.
