About the role

I'm looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join an adapting team. You'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and resilient cloud and on-premise environments.

This is an exciting opportunity to influence how to leverage cloud technologies and automation to deliver efficient, reliable, and future-proof infrastructure. The teams are embracing new and emerging tech so it's an excellent opportunity to expand your technical skill set.



What you'll be doing

  • Building, maintaining, and optimising cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).

  • Using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Ansible/CloudFormation) to provision and manage infrastructure.

  • Managing physical and virtual servers, storage, and backup solutions.

  • Administering Windows/Linux operating systems and ensuring patching, updates, and compliance.

  • Supporting and troubleshooting networking (LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs, switches, routing).

  • Monitoring system performance and capacity, ensuring uptime and reliability.

  • Supporting CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.

  • Collaborating with developers, security, and operations teams to deliver high-quality services.

  • Driving automation and continuous improvement across infrastructure and deployments.

  • Providing 3rd line support and resolving escalated infrastructure issues.



What we're looking for

  • Proven experience as an Infrastructure Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or similar role.

  • Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent).

  • Solid understanding of networking, virtualisation, and containerisation (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes).

  • Experience managing Windows/Linux servers and related core services (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, etc.).

  • Knowledge of storage, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and collaborative mindset.
