Avenue are recruiting for a CNC Machine Setter/Operator for our leading suppliers to the Aviation industry.
Your role will involve the setting and programming of centre lathes both of the clients CTX and OKUMA lathes have FANUC controls.
You will work closely within the CNC turning department to manufacture components for the Avation Industry. Your key duties will include:
- Safely set and operate CNC lathes
- Capable of working to close tolerances in a variety of Aerospace grade materials and in line with customer drawings and specfications
- Working on a 2 shift pattern Monday - Friday.
To be suitable for this pivotal role you will have the following key skills and experience:
- Relevant experience in a similar role and an aptitude for mechanical engineering.
- Excellent communications skills and ability to use own initiative
- Sliding head experience advantageous.
- A strong drive to succeed is essential.
You will be offered a salary o 34500 - 38500pa DOE + excellent benefits , training and monthly production bonus.
You will work Monday - Friday on a 2 shift pattern the hours as follows:
Mon - Thursday - Day shift 6am - 2pm and backshift 2pm - 10pm
Friday - Dayshift 6am-11am and backshift 11am -4pm
Overtime may be available during busy periods.
