Data Architect - Edinburgh

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Data Architect to join a large public sector organisation in Glasgow or Edinburgh. You will be providing technical leadership and direction across a range of domains, establishing and maintaining data architecture best practice and culture across a range of agile delivery teams, both through analysis and improvement of existing architecture and for future solutions.

Essential skills:

  • Demonstrable track record of delivering data architecture solutions and processes for the achievement of tangible benefits and outcomes
  • Reputable experience of working with multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders to provide specialist and well-evidenced data architecture expertise, analysis and direction
  • Experienced in designing solutions and services with a high level of ingrained security and adherence to GDPR and other data related regulations
  • Experience of mentoring and supporting members of delivery teams and driving knowledge sharing and adoption of best practices
  • Highly experienced in analysing requests for data architecture services, assessing and communicating technical viability in line with existing or potential solutions and capabilities
  • Proven experience in development and implementation of standards and best practices to enable best of breed data architecture services, including continuous improvement with data related teams and processes
