GI Pro are working with a leading communications product manufacturer that are recruiting for Assembly Technicians in Edinburgh.

This is an ongoing full time hours contract role

Offering a pay rate up to £12.21 per hour

Working shifts: 8am - 5 Monday-Thursday with 2.30pm finish Friday

The role

  • Assemble / modify electrical or electronic products and equipment from
  • Working from technical drawings
  • Soldering, wiring, and working with hand tools, power tools, machinery, and other equipment
  • Input data onto the CRM
  • Will be some heavy lifting involved up to 20 kilos

The candidate

  • Mechanical assembly, or soldering and wiring experience is desirable
  • You will be able to work with hand and air tools / soldering irons
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Must be willing to rotate between various positions in the organization based on business needs.
