Do you have a background in electrical or medical engineering or are you looking to break into the industry and want a hands-on, field-based role where you can develop your skills, receive specialist training, and make a meaningful impact in the healthcare sector?

On offer is a chance to join a market leading company specialise in manufacturing and servicing medical equipment for applications across the health care sector. They have seen major growth to the point they are one of the UK leading suppliers to the healthcare sector and are now looking to expand their friendly team to help with sustained growth.

In this role you will be covering a regional patch including Newcastle, Dumfries, Middlesbrough, Edinburgh, Bradford, Hawick, and Leeds. You will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance, testing, calibration, and reactive repairs on a range of medical weighing equipment within hospitals and other NHS facilities. Full product-specific training will be provided at the start, along with ongoing development opportunities to enhance your technical skills. The role operates Monday to Friday, 8am-6pm, with occasional early finishes and opportunities for overtime.

  • Experience as a Service Engineer or in a similar technical role
  • Background in medical or electrical engineering, or a strong interest in entering the field
  • Holds a full UK driving licence
