Sharper Consulting Servicesislooking on behalf of our client in theScottish Lowlandsin their search for an EHO working in the commercial food & safetyteam on ashort-termcontract basis.

Expected contract length 6-12 weeks (Part time or Full time)

You will beexperienced in carrying out food safety and food standards inspections, responding to complaints and enquiries. In addition, you willcarry out infectious disease & health and safety investigations and intervention work.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrate substantial experience in conducting food inspections on behalf of a local authority.
  • Maintain a fully up-to-date competency matrix and engage in continuous professional development (CPD) to stay abreast of the latest developments in food safety regulations and practices.
  • Hold either a BSc/MSc in Environmental Health with REHIS/EHORB (orequivalent)registration.
  • Proven experience in the field of environmental health, specifically in food safety inspections.
  • Thorough understanding of relevant legislation and regulations governing food safety.
