Senior Administrator - Events
Based in Central Edinburgh | hybrid working available
Full Time | Monday to Friday | 9:00am to 5:00pm
Temp role for 3 months | potential for the role to be extended
Pay rate up to 14.50 per hour + holiday pay (depending on relevant skills & experience)

Search Consultancy are delighted to be working exclusively with one of our long-standing clients based in Edinburgh City Centre to recruit this temp role for at least the next 3 months.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive administration support to the team, with a particular focus on the preparation & planning of an upcoming company conference later in the year.

Duties involved in this role will include:
* Supporting the planning and delivery of the company's annual conference, including communication with delegates, event programme logistics, and liaison with speakers, partners & suppliers
* Management of meeting documentation and logistics, including the preparation of agendas, meeting documentation, minutes, and action tracking
* Providing administrative support to the memberships function
* Working closely with the Marketing and Communications team to coordinate marketing activities for the business
* Acting as a point-person for the team, dealing with any incoming queries as & when
* Ensuring all records are maintained on the company's internal system
* Various other ad-hoc administrative duties as directed

In order to be considered for this role your skills and experience should include:
* Extensive previous experience within Administration carrying out duties broadly similar to the above - this experience is ESSENTIAL and candidates who have experience of event planning & administration would be at a distinct advantage
* First class planning & organisation skills with the ability to organise, prioritise and complete a busy workload effectively - as well as the ability to pivot your focus when required
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Solid IT Skills including the full MS Office suite & the ability to pick up new systems quickly
