Search are delighted to be supporting the recruitment of a Finance Manager for our client's Edinburgh office with hybrid working on a full-time, permanent basis. Reporting to the Director of Finance, you'll lead the finance function and have the opportunity to shape the financial strategy of the organisation alongside ensuring regulatory compliance and supporting the delivery of high-quality services. If you're an experienced Accountant or Finance Manager looking to join a supportive organisation in a role that provides genuine opportunity to influence and shape strategic goals, you'd be encouraged to apply. Your responsibilities will include:* Lead and develop the Finance Team. * Support the delivery of the organisation's business plan and strategic objectives.* Lead the preparation of statutory accounts and liaise with external auditors.* Manage all aspects of financial and management accounting, treasury, and cashflow.* Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.* Oversee budget planning, monitoring and reporting across the organisation.* Produce financial statements in line with FRS102 and submit to relevant bodies.* Provide financial reports to senior leadership team and relevant stakeholders.* Oversee monthly payroll processes.* Liaise with key internal and external stakeholders. * Manage and develop systems, data and processes. * Oversee team budgets, recruitment, performance, and risk management.* Provide accurate and timely performance data and management information.Skills and experience that will benefit your application:* University degree in relevant field. * Professional accountancy qualification (CA, ACCA, CIMA,).* Strong communication and presentation skills.* Advanced Excel skills and IT proficiency.* Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.* Demonstrable communication skills with ability to engage internal and external stakeholders. * Knowledge of financial systems and process improvement. * Understanding of accounting standards and financial reporting.What's in it for you:* A salary range of circa £50k - £55k.* Hybrid and flexible working options.* Generous leave allowance.* Professional development opportunities.
