They are looking for an experienced Private Client Tax Assistant Manager to join their incredibly rewarding team based in Edinburgh Central.

This role will allow you to focus on the management of the firms personal tax compliance cycle. You will working with their growing portfolio of individuals, trusts, partnerships, LLPs across a range of sectors, particularly landed estates and rural businesses.

As this firm is a training office, there will also be an expectation that within your role you would support the development of more junior staff in on-the-job training.

As their Private Client Tax Assistant Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Managing your own portfolio whilst also being responsible for reviewing the work of more junior tax staff. Experience of Management is essential for this role.
  • Delivery and management of personal tax compliance services.
  • Meeting deadlines.
  • Providing advice; inheritance and capital gains tax planning, international tax aspects, and trust planning.

The mix of advisory work will be tailored to the strengths of you and your experience, but a broad base is required to permit work in most if not all of the above areas.

This brand new role will be able to provide you with a wide range of work for someone with a specialist background in Private Client Tax, who's goal is to broaden their experience with a dedicated private client firm with a diverse and large client base.
