Search are supporting the recruitment of a Trust Manager to join our client's Edinburgh office with hybrid & flexible working. Joining the Private Client team, you will be responsible for managing trust and charity administration to support the workload of the Private Client Team efficiently. Your key responsibilities will include:* Maintain and update trust records.* Communicate with trustees and beneficiaries, providing advice and executing instructions.* Coordinate with professional intermediaries on client accounts.* Ensure compliance with trust deeds.* Apply knowledge of Income and Capital Gains Tax in trust administration.* Advise on the setup, management, and termination of trusts.* Manage trust finances, including disbursements and payments.* Handle Trust Registration and relevant reporting.* Ensure compliance with legislation and reporting requirements.* Manage Inheritance Tax and prepare necessary forms.* Draft Deeds, Trustee Minutes, and Resolutions.* Review and maintain trust and compliance records.* Oversee Anti-Money Laundering (AML) processes.Skills and experience that will benefit your application:* Experience as a Trust Manager or similar role.* Ability to support and manage colleagues when required. * Highly motivated team player with the ability to prioritise a high-volume workload.* Strong interpersonal skills, comfortable engaging internal and external stakeholders. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages.What's in it for you:* A salary range of 40k-50k, depending on experience.* Hybrid and flexible working options, with part-time hours considered.* Comprehensive benefits package. * Opportunities for career and professional development.
