A well-established and highly regarded wealth management firm is seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join its Financial Planning team in Edinburgh. This is a 12-month fixed-term role with a genuine opportunity for a permanent position based on performance.

The RoleIn this position, you will work closely with a team of experienced Financial Planning Directors, supporting them in delivering high-quality, client-focused advice. You will be involved in preparing detailed financial reports, conducting research, and assisting with annual client reviews. The role also includes attending client meetings, preparing documentation, and managing your own workflow to meet agreed timelines and standards.

Key Responsibilities-
Produce high-quality, tailored financial advice reports and cashflow models

Conduct in-depth technical research across tax, pension, and investment planning

Support client meetings through preparation, note-taking, and follow-up actions

Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to ensure excellent client outcomes

Propose improvements to existing tools, templates, and advice delivery processes

Stay current with financial planning regulations and internal procedures

Manage your own workflow efficiently, balancing quality with timeliness

CII Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent) - essential

Chartered Financial Planner status - desirable

Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a paraplanning role

Solid technical understanding of UK tax, pensions, and estate planning

Experience managing personal workflow and contributing within a paraplanning team

Strong written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail

A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and a collaborative approach to teamwork
