Are you a Diploma Qualified Paraplanner looking to taking step up to a Senior Paraplanner position? If so, join our client’s vibrant team in Edinburgh where there will be fantastic opportunities to develop and progress as part of this growing business.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

  • You’ll provide essential technical support to our advisers, ensuring they deliver maximum value to our clients
  • As the “voice” of the business, you’ll draft clear and client-centred communications. Your quantitative expertise will shine through in bespoke Financial Plans
  • You’ll gather qualitative and quantitative information, using cutting-edge tools, to create compliant and comprehensive financial plans
  • Review and enhance our centralised and low-cost propositions. Dive into exciting project work when needed

Your Principal Accountabilities:

  • Understand client objectives by collaborating with advisers
  • Analyse client file notes, fact finds, and meeting notes to support advice
  • Obtain necessary information for accurate financial projections
  • Draft comprehensive financial plans using our house style
  • Skilfully manipulate software for accurate projections
  • Prepare for client meetings, ensuring advice aligns with client needs
  • Assist advisers during client presentations and address technical queries
  • After client planning meetings, produce polished reports
  • Work closely with product providers and third parties
  • Keep up to date with regulatory changes and market developments

Your Skills and Qualifications:

  • Paraplanning experience in a similar setting
  • Level 4 Diploma qualified or working towards it
  • Ideally proficient in Cashflow modelling software, Intelligent Office, F E Analytics, Select-a-Pension, Dynamic Planner, and various Platform/Provider websites
