Day-to-Day Duties:
As a Counterbalance FLT Driver, your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out Counterbalance Forklift Truck duties safely and efficiently
- Transporting materials around the production area
- Loading and unloading goods
- Working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Supporting production teams with movement of stock
- Following all Health & Safety procedures
- Reporting any equipment faults to management
Essential Skills:
- A valid Counterbalance Forklift licence (RTITB or ITSSAR accredited)
- Recent experience operating a Counterbalance FLT
- Good awareness of safety in a manufacturing setting
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and timekeeping
Desirable Experience:
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
Training:
- Full site training will be provided. Induction paperwork to be completed before starting.
