Title: Associate – Private Client Location: Edinburgh 

Salary: £58,000 - £65,000 

This respected Scottish firm is home to a long-standing Private Client team that advises a wide range of individuals, families, and high-net-worth clients on complex personal and tax-related matters. Due to continued growth, the firm is seeking an experienced Associate to join their team in either Edinburgh or Perth. The role offers the opportunity to be involved in a wide variety of private client work, including wills, estate administration, inheritance tax planning, trust creation, and contentious matters such as disputed executries and trust issues.The successful candidate will ideally have a minimum of 5 years’ post-qualification experience in private client work, though those with slightly less experience will also be considered. A strong understanding of tax reliefs such as Agricultural Property Relief (APR) and Business Property Relief (BPR) is essential, as is the ability to manage a varied caseload independently. You should also have experience supporting clients on complex matters such as trust law, asset protection, and powers of attorney or guardianship.
