Meraki Talent is partnering with a leading Professional Services firm based in Scotland, looking for someone with a HR generalist skill set within a client facing sector.This role requires independent travel across Scotland on a weekly basis (Alnwick, Hawick, Kelso, Penrith, Edinburgh, Melrose, Dundee).HR Responsibilities:
  • Act as the first point of contact and work in partnership with each of the functions and offices across Scotland, in relations to HR generalist advice.
  • Leading and delivering multiple HR projects and support with implementations.
  • Working with Head of People and collaborating with marketing for employee engagement activities, new incentives to understand employee needs and making necessary changes to enhance company culture.
  • Advising the L&D Coordinator on employees needs, signposting them to areas of development for individual growth.
  • Organising and supporting line managers during annual reviews period including professional development reviews.,
  • Working closely with the team in preparation for acquiring new head counts.
  • Day to day HR operations, being the point of escalation.
  • Monitoring and manager HR inbox and applicant tracking system.
  • Supporting with talent attraction, resourcing, to interview and onboarding stage.
Person Specification:
  • Experience in a generalist HR role, within a client facing sector.
  • Strong knowledge across all areas of HR, including employment law, L&D, talent acquisition, project planning.
  • Successful and proven experience overseeing HR projects.
  • Strategic and innovative thinker who is able to input into new ideas relating to HR projects and initiatives.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to travel across Scotland as this role will weekly travel to and from different offices.
