ABC Teachers is seeking a committed and inspiring Humanities Supply Teacher to join a well-regarded secondary school in Northfield from September 2025. The role:

Teach Humanities subjects (such as History, Geography and/or Religious Studies) to KS3 and KS4.

Plan, deliver and assess engaging and thought-provoking lessons.

Work collaboratively with the Humanities department and contribute to a positive learning culture.

Promote curiosity, empathy and critical thinking in line with the school’s values.
Requirements
The successful Humanities Teacher will have;

UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Humanities.

Recent secondary teaching experience.

Strong classroom management and communication skills.

A commitment to safeguarding and student progress.

A proactive and flexible approach to teaching.

Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)
*All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
