Summary Role

An exciting opportunity has come available for a Risk Consultant to join the Line 1 Risk Team to support the operations function at Diligenta.

As a Risk Consultant you will play a key role in supporting and enhancing our risk management framework. You'll be responsible for conducting regular risk-based checks, analysing incident and breach data, and providing meaningful insights to guide decision-making.

This role involves close collaboration with operational teams, offering support and feedback, while maintaining strong internal controls and compliance oversight.

What you'll be doing

  • Carrying out key regular risk-based checks on breaches and risk events logged by the operational teams
  • Providing feedback and support to operational colleagues
  • Produce meaningful analysis of data that is complete, accurate and produced on a timely basis.
  • Support the delivery of the risk management framework. This includes the support & oversight of incident, breach & control management in the operation and monitoring local compliance with relevant group policies
  • Co-ordinating and managing priorities when working on a number of varied areas.
  • Maintaining robust controls around receiving and processing information from multiple business units.
  • Continuously developing and maintaining technical knowledge.
  • Managing and maintaining key internal relationships
  • Proactively identify risks and recommend actions to manage or mitigate these risks.

  • Strong Attention to detail with the ability to complete checks accurately and maintain high standards in reporting and documentation.
  • Capable of providing feedback and engaging with colleagues across the business.
  • Keen to learn about risk frameworks, incident management, and compliance policies.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and tasks effectively, even in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to build relationships across teams and collaborate with others.
  • A mindset focused on identifying issues and suggesting improvements.
  • Openness to developing technical knowledge and understanding of risk processes through training and on-the-job experience.
  • Willing to support others and escalate more complex issues when needed.
