Service Care Legal are currently working with a leading UK law firm, who are seeking an Associate / Solicitor to join their prestigious Clinical Negligence Team based in Edinburgh.This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious legal professional to handle a caseload of complex and high-value clinical negligence claims, including birth injury, brain injury, and amputation cases, while also mentoring junior team members.Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a full caseload of serious clinical negligence claims.
  • Lead on birth injury, brain injury, and other complex matters.
  • Ensure full compliance with case and time management protocols. Lead client meetings and handle complex negotiations.
  • Draft complex legal documentation and court submissions.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Solicitor – Law Society of Scotland- NQ-3 years PQE+ 
  • Experience in personal injury or clinical negligence law (essential).
  • Strong time management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage KPIs, and prioritise deadlines.
