- Review and clear medium-to-high complexity conflict checks across a global network.
- Manage the entire conflict check process, from initial review to record creation.
- Act as the first point of contact for urgent queries outside core hours.
- Analyse client terms and advise on bespoke conflict clauses.
- Collaborate with legal teams to resolve legal, commercial, and confidentiality issues.
- Flag sanctions risks and escalate complex matters where appropriate.
- Support new team members through mentoring, recruitment assistance, and technical guidance.
- Contribute to key risk and compliance projects and team initiatives.
- 2–3 years' experience in conflicts within an international law firm.
- Familiarity with conflicts software (e.g., Elite/3E, Intapp Open or similar).
- Solid knowledge of conflicts rules (SRA, Law Society of Scotland/Ireland, DIFC) and an understanding of US ABA rules where applicable.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and client service skills.
- Calm, methodical, and confident under pressure.
- Strong communication skills with a proactive and organised approach.
