Conflicts Advisor (Evening Hours)?? Remote (UK-based) ?? Permanent ?? 4:30PM – 11:30PM shift We're working with a leading international law firm looking for an experienced Conflicts Advisor to join their established Risk & Compliance team, supporting their UK and Middle East offices. This is a remote, out-of-hours role, perfect for someone who enjoys autonomy, high-quality work, and a later workday schedule.The Role:
  • Review and clear medium-to-high complexity conflict checks across a global network.
  • Manage the entire conflict check process, from initial review to record creation.
  • Act as the first point of contact for urgent queries outside core hours.
  • Analyse client terms and advise on bespoke conflict clauses.
  • Collaborate with legal teams to resolve legal, commercial, and confidentiality issues.
  • Flag sanctions risks and escalate complex matters where appropriate.
  • Support new team members through mentoring, recruitment assistance, and technical guidance.
  • Contribute to key risk and compliance projects and team initiatives.
About you?
  • 2–3 years' experience in conflicts within an international law firm.
  • Familiarity with conflicts software (e.g., Elite/3E, Intapp Open or similar).
  • Solid knowledge of conflicts rules (SRA, Law Society of Scotland/Ireland, DIFC) and an understanding of US ABA rules where applicable.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and client service skills.
  • Calm, methodical, and confident under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills with a proactive and organised approach.
