HR Advisor Location: Edinburgh (on-site parking available)
Salary: 35,000-38,000 per annum plus benefits
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (with one day per week working from home)

Join a People-Focused Organisation Making a Difference We're looking for a confident and capable HR Advisor to join our team in Edinburgh, supporting a dynamic healthcare organisation committed to delivering exceptional care. This is a key role for a skilled HR professional who thrives on variety, values collaboration, and is ready to make a meaningful impact across the business.
You'll be working closely with the Director and senior leadership team, offering expert guidance on a wide range of HR matters. From employee relations to recruitment and policy development, your input will help shape a positive and inclusive workplace culture. Occasional travel to our offices across Scotland will be part of the role, offering variety and connection across the wider organisation.
What You'll Be Doing
Advising managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation
Managing employee relations cases including disciplinary, grievance, absence, and performance
Supporting the delivery of HR projects and initiatives aligned with business goals
Maintaining accurate HR records and ensuring compliance with data standards
Coordinating recruitment and onboarding, including job descriptions, interviews, and inductions
Reviewing and developing HR policies and procedures
Producing HR reports and metrics for leadership insight
Championing a positive, inclusive, and supportive workplace environment
What We're Looking For Essential:
Solid experience in a generalist HR role
Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
Confident using Microsoft Office
Desirable:
CIPD Level 5 qualification (or working towards)
