Reed Technology are working with an exciting organisation located in Edinburgh, seeking an IT Systems Administrator to join their IT & Digital Applications team on a permanent contract.?? 

The role:? 

The successful candidate will be providing first-line support, administering and configuring critical business systems within the organisation, being the first point of contact for system related queries and solving relevant issues.  

Other tasks include: 

  • Providing general IT Administration / Helpdesk support for digital systems such as website, internal software, etc., ensuring proper resolution of user requests. 

  • Triage and escalation of tickets to second line support or other relevant teams when necessary, ensuring proper prioritisation and logging. 

  • Perform regular analysis of systems issues and suggesting appropriate fixes and solutions. 

  • Providing training and support to colleagues in the usage of systems when necessary. 

Required Skills & Qualifications:? 

  • Previous experience working in a first-line or helpdesk support role, using ticketing systems. 

  • Ability to create reports, logs and relevant clear documentation. 

  • Experience with Dynamics 365. 

  • Excellent problem-solving skills following logical approaches. 

  • Preferably holding Microsoft Certifications or related training/courses. 

  • Knowledge/Experience with ERP systems, Database and BI are desirable. 

Benefits:? 

  • Salary up to £30k annum.

  • Permanent contract, 35 hours per week (Mon-Fri) 

  • Remote approach organisation (few days per month in the office) 

  • 42 days of annual leave (including bank holidays) 

  • Office in great central Edinburgh location
