Description

  • Process supplier invoices and ensure accurate data entry into the accounting system.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and process payment runs, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Manage and respond to supplier queries effectively and professionally.
  • Assist in month-end closing activities, including account reconciliations.
  • Maintain accurate and organised accounts payable records.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
  • Support the Accounting & Finance department with ad hoc tasks as required.

Profile

A successful AP Assistant should have:

  • A solid understanding of accounts payable processes and financial systems.
  • Experience in a similar role within the business services industry.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
