Are you an experienced legal administrator with a background in residential conveyancing?Valeco Recruitment is proud to be working in partnership with an established and reputable law firm based in Edinburgh, seeking to recruit a dedicated Legal Administrator to join their busy Residential Conveyancing team in Morningside.

About the Role:

This is a key support role within a high-performing conveyancing department. The successful candidate will be involved in a wide range of administrative and legal tasks, ensuring an efficient and client-focused service.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Drafting legal documents and correspondence
  • Carrying out property searches via Registers of Scotland and Local Authority portals
  • Preparing Land Registration and LBTT forms
  • Supporting with fee note preparation
  • Handling client and third-party correspondence by phone and email
  • Ensuring compliance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations

Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven experience in a legal admin or secretarial role within a property/conveyancing department
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong communication skills and a professional, friendly approach
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
