Contract Scotland is recruiting on behalf of a leading civil engineering contractor for a Site Agent to deliver a key infrastructure project within Edinburgh Airport.
About the Role:

Initial works (June – September 2025) will involve construction of an airside compound on disused airport land, including:

Earthworks and drainage
-
Utilities and road construction
-
Concrete foundations/hardstands
-
Modular office installation
-
Fencing works
-

From November 2025, focus will shift to supporting a major runway rehabilitation programme operating across day and night shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
-
Oversee daily site operations and manage on-site teams and subcontractors
-
Ensure compliance with airport-specific security and operational procedures
-
Liaise with Edinburgh Airport representatives to coordinate permits, access, and notifications

Maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance

Ensure programme, quality, and cost targets are met
Ideal Candidate:
-
Previous experience working on airside or landside projects at Edinburgh Airport

Familiarity with airport systems, permit processes, and security protocols

Relevant certifications: SMSTS (essential), First Aid, Appointed Person (desirable)

Proven background in civil engineering delivery, ideally in safety-critical or secure environments
