Position: Site Supervisor
Location: EdinburghÂ
Company: Our client is a well-established and reputable civil engineering contractor specialising in the refurbishment and strengthening of roads, bridges, tracks, and infrastructure projects.
Role Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join their team on a permanent basis based in Edinburgh, however expected to cover a number of multiple sites throughout Central Scotland.Â
Experience within Concrete Frame Civil Engineering is a must for this role .Â
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for overseeing all site operations, ensuring that high-quality work is consistently delivered. You will collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure the smooth execution of projects.
Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience managing all operational activities on-site.
- Competence in maintaining accurate site diaries.
- A strong track record of implementing health & safety and quality procedures.
- Previous experience working with a civil engineering contractor.
- Experience working on bridges, roads, and infrastructure projects is preferred.
- Experience with concrete repair is desirable.
- Strong organisational skills for managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent communication skills for liaising effectively with on-site staff, subcontractors, and management.
- Willingness to travel when required.
