Location: Edinburgh

Rate: 26 - 28 per hour

Start Date: Immediate

Hours: 7am - 7pm (1 hour unpaid break)

We are seeking a Site Manager with previous hotel fit out experience to start immediately on a hotel refurbishment in Edinburgh.

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing and coordinating all on-site activities during hotel refurbishment or fit-out projects.
  • Managing subcontractors and trades to ensure work is completed to required standards.
  • Monitoring project timelines and ensuring milestones are met.
  • Enforcing site health and safety regulations and conducting regular inspections.
  • Liaising with architects, designers, and client representatives to ensure project requirements are understood and delivered.
  • Managing delivery schedules for materials and ensuring availability of resources.
  • Conducting quality checks to ensure all finishes meet hotel brand standards.
  • Reporting progress, issues, and budget updates to senior management.
  • Problem-solving on-site issues and delays to keep the project on track.
  • Ensuring compliance with building regulations and industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Driving License - No parking on site.
  • SMSTS
  • First Aid
  • Asbestos Awareness
  • Previous hotel fit out experience
  • Ability to work efficiently and follow health and safety guidelines.
