Job Title: Site Manager

Duration: Up to 48 weeks
Our client are commencing a new build project involving the demolition of an existing structure located between two occupied buildings, followed by groundworks, steel erection, timber kit construction, glazing and associated works.
This is a complex site requiring a highly competent and experienced Site Manager who can manage tight interfaces, coordinate multiple trades, and maintain strong health & safety compliance throughout.
Key Responsibilities-
Oversee daily site operations, including subcontractor management and sequencing of trades

Ensure works are delivered safely, on time and to specification

Manage site logistics and coordinate between the existing adjacent buildings

Monitor and enforce all HSE standards and site protocols

Liaise with clients, engineers, and the internal team

Maintain daily records and progress reporting

Support the team through all phases of the works: demolition, groundworks, steel/timber erection and external glazing

Proven experience managing complex construction projects, ideally within tight urban or occupied settings

Strong technical knowledge across multiple phases of build: demolition, structural steel, timber kit, etc

Excellent leadership, organisation and communication skills

Ability to problem-solve and remain calm under pressure

Rate: Competitive day rate, negotiable depending on experience

Working Hours: Monday–Friday, standard site hours
