Temporary Operations Administrator - Edinburgh City Centre

Location: Edinburgh City Centre
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
Pay: 12.80 - 14.30 per hour (depending on experience)

Contract Type: Temporary, ongoing basis

About the Role:

We are currently recruiting for a Temporary Operations Administrator to support a busy and professional office environment in central Edinburgh. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong administrative and document processing skills who enjoys working in a varied role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage outgoing correspondence including letters, reports, presentations, and other business documents.
  • Ensure all documents are accurate, well-formatted, and aligned with internal standards.
  • Create visually engaging PowerPoint presentations for internal and external use.
  • Provide professional reception cover during lunch breaks and holidays, welcoming visitors and managing front-of-house duties.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, meeting room bookings, and catering arrangements.
  • Support with general administrative tasks including data entry, diary coordination, and ad hoc project support.

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Confident communicator with a professional and presentable manner.
  • Previous experience in an office-based administrative role.
  • Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
