What the Role Requires You to Do
Design and implement a strategic business development plan aligned with growth targets
Research, identify, and engage new business opportunities across key industries and regions
Cultivate strong relationships with C-suite and senior decision-makers
Manage the full sales cycle - from prospecting to proposal, negotiation, and close
Collaborate with marketing and product teams to create tailored campaigns and messaging
Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings
Maintain accurate data in CRM systems and provide detailed sales reporting
Deliver regular pipeline updates, forecasts, and activity insights to leadership
Stay ahead of market trends and competitor activity to spot areas of opportunity
Ensure a seamless handover and onboarding process for new clients
What We're Looking For
Proven success in a business development or sales leadership role (ideally B2B)
A track record of exceeding revenue targets and growing client accounts
A strong network across target sectors, with the confidence to open new doors
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
Confidence in presenting complex solutions to senior stakeholders
Self-motivated with a strategic, entrepreneurial mindset
Proficient in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and pipeline reporting tools
Strong commercial acumen and ability to develop actionable client strategies
A goal-oriented approach with resilience, adaptability, and drive
Willingness to travel for meetings, networking events, and industry functions
