This is a key position, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across several Asda site locations.

You will be the first line in all service and maintenance throughout yourallocatedsites.

To effectivelymaintainservice and repair Refrigeration Equipment in customer locations andprovideassistancetoHVAC equipmentcontainingrefrigeration circuits.

Engineering teams provide 24hr service cover throughout the year to customers equipment through the use of planned and extended working hours including participation in standby rota procedures.

Key Accountabilities:

• Prioritise maintenance and repair work to achieve agreed timescales and response times.

• Identifynon-repairable faults promptlyadvisethe Line manager of findings, with recommendationsregardingsuitable replacements.

• To ensure PPM schedules are completed within agreed timescales and that all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and to the laid-down procedures.

• Ensure that all technical and compliance paperwork is always completed and up to date.

• Requirement toparticipateon an out of hours standby rota. Responsible for arranging & communication of any coverrequireddue to holidays/ unforeseen circumstances to line manager.

Knowledge,Skillsand Abilities:

Essential:

• NVQ/C&G Refrigeration Based Qualification

• Refrigerant Handling C&G 2079 or equivalent CITB certificate

• Refrigeration, Electrical, Air Conditioning & Mechanical knowledge

Desirable:

• BS7671 (IEE 16/17th)

• Commercial/Supermarket

• Machine Overhaul Skills

• Hydrocarbon Refrigerant Training

• CO2 Refrigerant Training

The ideal candidate:

• Good communicationskills (written and verbal)

• 5+ years experience

• Full driving licence

• Based Swindon and surrounding areas
