Corporate Support Manager - 6 month contract - Edinburgh - £250 - £300 per day via umbrella

One of Loriens leading Public Sector Clients are looking for a highly experienced Corporate Support Manager join their team on an initial 6-month contract.

Assignment Description

  • Working closely with the lead Corporate Support Manager to manage and monitor theFreedom of Information (FOI) and Environmental Information Regulation (EIR) requests, including liaising with staff to ensure that the relevant information required is returned in a timely manner when required.
  • Overseeing the redaction process for personal, environmental, and commercially sensitive information, ensuring full compliance with GDPR, FOI, and EIR legislation. Responsible for the strategic application of exemptions and public interest tests, providing guidance to teams on best practices and regulatory adherence.
  • Drafting and coordinating responses to FOIs/EIRs, ensuring legislative requirements and timescales are met when required.
  • Issuing and recording acknowledgment letters for requests
  • Providing oversight and strategic guidance on staff contributions to casework, ensuring timely follow-ups and accountability. Establishing best practices for monitoring workflows, fostering collaboration, and driving operational efficiency in case management.
