Location: Edinburgh East
Rate of Pay: 13.48 per hour
Hours of work: Mon-Fri 08.00-17.00 with 60min break
Duration: TemporaryOngoing
Immediate Start

This position will be subjected to a PVG check. New applicants to the scheme would be 59 and updates 18

Full training, PPE and overtime available

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely transport students to and from school, ensuring punctuality and reliability.
  • Assist students in boarding and exiting the minibus, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
  • Maintain a clean and well-kept vehicle, conducting regular checks and reporting any issues promptly.
  • Build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff, fostering a friendly and supportive environment.
  • Adhere to all road safety regulations and school transport policies.

Requirements:
  • Valid UK driving license with D1 category (essential).
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably with children or individuals with additional needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A caring and patient attitude with a strong commitment to student welfare.
