Description

Assist in the preparation and drafting of wills, lasting powers of attorney, trusts, and related documentation

Support the administration of estates from initial instructions through to final distribution, including obtaining probate
-
Liaise with clients, financial institutions, and other professionals (e.g. accountants, HMRC)

Conduct legal research on relevant legislation, case law, and best practices
-
Prepare inheritance tax forms and other HMRC documentation
-
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client files and records
-
Attend client meetings (in person or virtually) and prepare attendance notes
-
Manage deadlines and ensure compliance with internal procedures and legal regulations
-
Provide general administrative support to the Private Client team
Profile
-
Prior experience working in a private client department is highly desirable

Strong written and verbal communication skills
-
High level of discretion and professionalism when dealing with confidential information

Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
-
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
