Your new company
Our client is a specialist contractor focused on the construction and installation of sporting facilities across the country. With their turnover looking to significantly increase, they are now seeking to appoint a suitably experienced construction project manager to their business.
Your New Role

As a Project Manager, you'll take ownership of sporting construction projects from initial site assessment through to final handover. You'll manage contractors, coordinate logistics, and ensure each installation meets our client's high standards for safety, quality, and client satisfaction. This is a hands-on role requiring regular site visits, stakeholder engagement, and proactive problem-solving.
Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading sporting installation projects across the UK
  • Planning and managing timelines, budgets, and resources
  • Overseeing groundworks, civil engineering, and structural elements
  • Ensuring compliance with health & safety and building regulations
  • Liaising with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
  • Reporting progress to senior leadership

What You Will Need to Succeed

  • Proven experience in construction project management (ideally 3+ years)
  • Strong knowledge of groundwork, site preparation, and outdoor installations
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
  • Experience in sports infrastructure or leisure facilities is a bonus.
